hello everyone im trying to differentiate a constant in simulink. but when i use derivative block it considers the value as constant and gives me an output 0. can someone help me with this.
the equation is dV/dt, where 'V' is a constant number.
thank you,

You already have done everything exactly correct - Simulink also did what is correct. What is the derivative of y(t)=3 with respect to t? Exactly it is zero. y'(t) = dy/dt = 0 - So thats all and we learned it in our math classes.
