How can i transmit image with OFDM and Receive the same image with OFDM with Pluto ?

Is there any way I can send data(such as image) and receive the same with OFDM with Pluto ?

This example elaborates how to use Pluto SDR to transmit and receive images using 802.11a standard. This standard uses OFDM for transmission.

Hi thanks for your answer. Unfortunately i don't have WLAN module for MATLAB, I had DSP and communication toolbox. Is there any other way we can configure pluto and transmit images by audio ?

After the modulation is carried out, you will probably have the baseband samples available. Initialise a SDR object for transmitter and receiver and pass these samples into the transmitter. Once the receiver receives the samples, you can pass it to the demodulation functions.

when you use matlab pluto - transmitRepeat ,after initilization,

it throws you an error below,

Error using comm.libiio.AD9361.tx/validateInputsImpl
The number of columns of the input signal must match the number of channels selected for single-channel settings.

Not sure what this means. Any help ??

Hi,

I faced the same problem. It seems that there are two physical channels available. If we mention or initiate one channel, it will accept data from a column vector. However, I did successfully transmit, but the received data was not correct. Please let me know if you made some progress on this.

Can you please post Tx & Rx snippet ? Can you please explained what do you mean by Rx data is not correct.

I used this example with my PlutoSDR and I had no trouble transmitting and receiving image. I used Ubuntu 18.04 with MATLAB 2020a. Make sure you're not wrong at RF side. Make sure your Tx and Rx antennas are upright i.e. vertically polarized.
