Hi all. I am trying to use mexOpenCv for a college course. It seems to require Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 which I cannot seem to find anywhere. I managed to get Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 installed and Matlab is currently using it. Below is the message I get when I try to use mexOpenCV:
Error using mexOpenCV (line 63)
The OpenCV libraries were built using 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2015'.
Your compiler is 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 (C)'.

Note that you can select a compiler using 'mex -setup' command.
Running mex -v -setup returns the following

Found installed compiler 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 (C)'.
MEX configured to use 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 (C)' for C language compilation.
The mexOpenCV specifically calls out the 2015 version and will error out without. I need some help finding a way to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 compiler so that Matlab see it (I've tried this Announcing Visual C++ Build Tools 2015 – standalone C++ tools for build environments link but that didn't work) or something that allows me to access OpenCV from inside Matlab.

I had the same problem with mex setup. When I tried the below steps it worked for me. I hope this will help you.
Uninstall all the versions of Visual studio from your pc. Then download the visual studio 2017 from below link.
Then please run the following command in MATLAB terminal.
>>mex -setup
It should automatically detect the Visual studio c++ compiler for you and it will also set it if one compiler is installed. You can also change the compiler which you want to use If you have a more than one compiler installed like MinGW compiler.
