Matlab 2016a does not run after installation

Getting the below message.
/home/nilay/matlab/bin/glnxa64/MATLAB: error while loading shared libraries: libncurses.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I have tried sudo dnf install libxcrypt-compat but they are already installed.
These libraries seems to be placed under /etc/lib folder. When I tried to copy this file to /home/nilay/matlab/bin/glnxa64/ it generates another error.

ncurses-compat-libs appears to possibly be what you need.
