how to extend the writing of the comments ?

hi I have a simple question how to make the limit of the writing comments wider ? the grey line ( i marked it with yellow arrows (

You can attach an image directly to the post using the menu bar above the editing field.

You can set this in the preferences for the editor/debugger. Look for the Right-hand text limit.

go to the Home tab > in the Environment section, click Preferences > Select MATLAB > Editor/Debugger > Display > Right-hand text limit > Placement

It seems that this does adjust where the line appears, however you still cannot type past the previous limit.

Under Home>Environment>Preferences>Editor/Debugger>Language: Uncheck the box "Wrap comments automatically while typing" (this is R2023b, your version may vary):
