How to apply FIR low pass filter to a dataset

I have a data set which is torque vs time shown below that I need to remove the noise using low pass filter. However, I don't know what value should I use for each variables in the filter design.

This cannot be answered in general, because it depends on the frequency spectrum of the noise. The readers cannot guess magically, which parts of the this curve has to be considered as "signal" and which as "noise", so you need a physical analysis of the system.
