connect dots by creating smooth lines

Hello All,
I request you to help me in drawing lines between two centroids of red highlighted circle and it should be based on ridge rotation.
It should be visible like fingerprint image.

In the overlay, like with plot(), or burned into the image pixels themselves (like you're actually changing the image values)?
