Getpts with UIFigures using App Designer?

Does anyone know of a capability similar to getpts or ROI classes that will work with UIFigures using App Designer?

Unfortunatelly, they still did not solve this problem and that is the biggest drawback of appdesigner. However I've found out a turn around of this bug. If you open a separate figure from your app you can use getpts in that figure. ;) I hope it can help!
