How to update patternCustom plots

Hi,

I am using patternCustom function to show radiation pattern of an array.

Plotting it is straight forward:

patternCustom(magE,theta,phi);

I want to update the plot without redrawing it - it suppose to be much faster.

So, XData and YData is theta and phi, respectively (or not - its less important), CData is magE - What is ZData? How do I update it according to new magE?

Since magE is CData, you can just do

h = patternCustom(magE,theta,phi);
h.CData = newMagE;
