How do I get high resolution images from Mapping Toolbox?

I'm used to getting very high resolution eps images when using the plot function, that are suitable for book printing standard, however, the eps images from using the Mapping Toolbox are very poor. Perhaps I just don't know what I'm doing here, but I've searched high and low to find out how to get high resolution eps images from the Mapping Toolbox.
