write metadata to video file

I have some tiff images with metadata.Is it possible to convert these images to video without losing metadata.I want to store this video and extract frames and its metadata when needed

How you can write meta data into a video? You want to label while converting to video?

It looks like avi and mp4 can hold EXIF. However matlab does not provide any way to write that (not even to images). There is an external tool called exiftool that might help.
