Simulink variant subsystem error when referencing a child model.

Hello,

i want to use the variant subsystem capability of simulink to programmatically change subsystems on a main model which is then used for code generation on a TI Launchpad. When using the variant subsystem referencing an external simulink model (model reference block) and then trying to run the model in external mode i get the following error: "Path must start with relative path to anchor". This error occurs when trying to build the generated code with code composer studio. Thanks in advance for the help!
