How to generate 3d grid inside a triangulated mesh?

Hi,
I have triangulated mesh of an irregular structure following in image. I want to generate grids inside this structure. It is similar like poly2mask kind of function such that all the points inside this structure should be masked.
Is there any way to do it in MATLAB?
