Load NifTI zip files in Matlab R2017b

I'm trying to load NifTI zip files in Matab R2017b with the function load_untouch_nii but I keep getting the following error:
Error using load_untouch_nii_hdr (line 12)
Cannot find file
"/Users/".
Error in load_untouch_nii (line 109)
nii.hdr = load_untouch_nii_hdr(nii.fileprefix,nii.machine,nii.filetype);
When I unzip the file and load it it's OK.
I would like to have the files zip because are quite big. In older versions of Matlab I was able to load NifTI zip files.
