Intel's 'RealSense' camera is not supported by Image Acquisition Toolbox. Please refer to the link below for more information on supported hardware for Image Acquisition Toolbox:
However, to support this camera, you can write your own custom adaptors in MATLAB. Please refer to the link below for more information on how to use custom adaptors:

The above answer from MW staff is weird. I got Intel realsense SR300 and have 2017a IMAQ toolbox with generic OS webcam hardware addon. videoinput('winvideo', 3, 'INVZ16_640x480') works for IR channel, and there are various other channels to tap into. YUY2 shows regular camera.
