Hi, I'm trying to Use Magic Tire Formula from Simscape Driveline and model keeps terminating after only running for 1.5 seconds and returning the error "Nonlinear solver: failed to converge, residual norm too large."
Below is the layout of the way I'm trying to implement the layout, with the force and torque as input values into the system

Any ideas where the error is coming from, whats causing it and how to solve it ?
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks :)

Hi Gary,
My intuition says that once the torque breaks the friction, there is nothing to stop the tire from spinning freely. If there is no inertia, any torque will cause an infinite acceleration. Try putting inertia on the rotational side.
