ga solver or gamult solver

Hi i typed in "optimtool" into the command window and a prompt came up.
However when i look through the solver options there is no ga as a drop down option. Is this because my matlab is not updated? I have R2018b - for academic use).
Is there a way I can get it available for me on my matlab?

That could happen if you do not have the Global Optimization Toolbox installed, or do not have it licensed.
