after installation of matlab in my laptop ,when i click matlab icon it is not opening

am using windows 7 ultimate os with amd processor , 4gb ram , i installed matlab in my laptop, activation is done after that when i click matlab icon it is showing activation dialogbox, again and again... am unable to open matlab app... some time that icon appear in taskbar for few seconds and disppears again. i dont know why and what wrong i did whlie installation. pls help me to slove this issue..... thank u...
