Setting a tolerance for variable such as angles

Hello all,

I have a function that aligns micrographs taken at different angles into one composite image at 0 degrees. The function searches for exactly 0, 60, 120, 180, and 300 degrees. I was wondering how I could set a tolerance maybe within 5-10%. I've only been finding answers for testing if values are within a certain tolerance. Thank you.
