question about matlab plot gallery examples

Hi,

In the Matlab plot gallery examples, there is an example for the bar3 command

Where is the data set for the monthly temperatures stored? I want to replicate this example and see what format the data needs to be in.

I doubt it's available from the TMW site, although you can ask them. Climatology interests me too, so I searched and came up with

http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/climate/climatedata.html

See ‘Surface Data’. The textfile downloads are free, and space- or comma-delimited. The one I downloaded came without ‘\r\n’.

My search was not exhaustive. You're welcome to go exploring on your own.
