Finding intersection of x-y plot and a circle

Hi,

I am modeling an excitation loss relay in matlab. I have two circle zones and X-Y graph plotted on the same graph. I need to know the simulation time when the x-y graph intersects the circle zones. Is there any way to compare x-y graph and a circle? Please any help. Thank you!

Thank you, the x-y graph is time dependent. as simulation time increase it approaches and finally intersect the circle. Can i record or stamp the duration taken to intersect the circles? Thanks again!
