Performance of Linear block codes error performance over AWGN: In this project you are asked to use study the performance of linear block codes in Gaussian channel. First you have to develop and Matlab code to simulate basic linear block code for a given generator matrix, you can use any matrix in the notes. You will generate all code words, syndrome, and the parity-check matrix. Then study the error correcting capabilities of the code by introducing a random error and check the decoded data. You can also check the undetected errors in AWGN for different SNR by looking at Bit Error Rate (BER) performance at different noise level (SNR). You will sketch the BER vs SNR in the range [-2dB to 20dB] and you can scale the graph to show the performance and compare it the none coding performance. You can also select few of Hamming codes for evalaurtion.
