How to crop each character of text line image based on projection profile

i've cropped text document image into line by line using projection profile, but when i tried to crop those line into separated characters using projection profile as well, the result didn't give the purposed result. even the second ran didnt show any output at all.

this is one of the text line that i've cropped a while ago, but i dont have any output example for the cropped characters.image saparately.
