Using previous analysis result in PDE Toolbox

I have a system of two elliptic PDEs which must be solved for several values of some parameters. I order assure convergence, I tried to vary them with a small amount in a loop. This affect the coeficients. One of them is given as a nested function function. I solved the sistem for a set of values, then I tried to modify the coefficients with specifyCoefficients and to use the previous result with setInitialConditions, but pdesolve does not perform any iteration. Can anybody help me?
