Amplitude extraction from spectrogram

Dear all , How do I exactly get the amplitudes that were calculated with the spectrogram function in matlab? I tried: [s w t] = spectrogram(params) Is it 10*log(abs(s)) or 20*log(abs(s)) Both don’t really seem to fit with the colorcode in the plot for the sections
