Where is the handle of the colormapeditor?

Hello,
Anywone knows how can I access the handle of the colormapeditor? I am developing a GUI that calls it and I would like to detect when the user closes the colormapeditor figure. Alternatively, I would like that the colormapeditor window to halt the callback execution where its call is located, ultil the user presses OK, which unfortunately doesn't happen.
