Simulation slow/freezes

An issue has occurred in running my simulation. The simulation runs till 4.5seconds and enters singularity. The model is built up of 2nd order differential equations and required variable step solver. Shown below are my current simulation parameters. I have played around with the zero-crossing options as well as making the tolerance larger but produced the same results.

What recommendations do you have to increase the speed of my simulation?
