How to pass data from app1 to app2 in AppDesigner?

Hi! I have two apps and I need some data from app1 in app2. How can I pass that? I tried this property thing which is explained here: https://es.mathworks.com/help/matlab/creating_guis/share-data-across-callbacks-in-app-designer.html, but this is just inside one app. I tried to call from app2 like app1.x but it throws me an error. Any ideas?
