Problem in calculating HU Moments in Matlab?

Hi everyone,
I am currently working on an OCR using HU Moments for feature set. As HU Moments have similar values for similar images. But when I calculated HU Moments for similar images I have different HU moments values. Due to that my classification results are not acceptable. I tried alot but could not found any solution. Any idea about this problem.
