Calling Variables

I am defining variable 's' in one function of my gui. Now i want to use "s" in another function of my same gui. How can i do that?

Is your question about fprintf() the same question as this one?

No sir. That problem is different. This problem is solved. By declaring the variable as global in BOTH the functions i can use it.

But the problem with fprintf still remains.
