Simscape Multibody frame to spline distance

I'm currently simulating a multibody vehicle with a predefined roadmap. I can plot this road map in the mechanics explorer using a spline, although I'm not sure how to measure the y-distance from the vehicle frame to this spline. The spline is defined in a 3D coordinate frame as the vehicle can drive under an angle. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
