Excel data input. assign a different vector for each row.

Hi I want to input a large excel data into matlab for easier calculation. The number of data for each row is the same. I wish to input these data into a format like

A1= row1 A2= row2 .... There are like more than 500 rows of data which is quite hard to do it manually. I wonder is there a easier way to do it?

Don't do that. It does not make anything easier.
