GUI check boxes and push button

I have 6 check boxes and a push button in my GUI. The push button should check for the selected check boxes and display the outputs respectively. this is my first time im making GUI and i have no idea how to do it. I have seen a lot of answers and tutorials but still cant figure out how to do it. Please help.

Please explain more details about what you are doing. Are you using GUIDE, the AppDesigner or do you create the GUI programmatically by code?
