Can I install previous versions of MatLab with a R2018a student license?

I'm a master student Biomedical Sciences and for a specific type of analysis I need to run a program in MatLab R2010a, but only the R2018a license is now available. I've read in the Q&A already that for registered users it's possible to download and install previous/earlier versions of MatLab, but are students also able to download these previous/earlier versions? Otherwise I'd buy a license without being able to run our program on software that's available for me to install.

Sebastiaan, there often is confusion between the "Student Version" purchased directly by you and what gets offered by your university for students. Let me send you an email about that.
