Can I store information inside Beaglebone black hardware

I want to store information inside beaglebone black hardware. Is this operation possible by using MATLAB support package "MATLAB Support Package for BeagleBone Black Hardware" functions? If yes where I can store my information (EEPROM or 4GB Embedded MMC). If no which hardware device that I can store information in it by using MATLAB functions.

In MATLAB Support Package there is a putFile() method which can be used to transfer files from your host to Beaglebone. or alternatively, you can use an application for SSH File Transfer Protocol. One of them is WinSCP.
