How to select particular value from any table?

I have table of frequency, s parameters and angle.(if you know .s1p files) the values of each variables are listed below for ex frequency has 10 values 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 similarly other two has 10 10 values.

now i want to know in which row i have frequency = 7 in code without seeing the table. and also for that particular frequency i want to know s parameter value.

Please help me to find out how?

One approach:

[r,c]=find(Table.freq==7);
S=Table.s(r,c);

does this works with approximate values. because i will not have exact freq = 7, it will be 7.00111 something like this?

It will. Just change 7 with 7.0011 or any value that you want to find.

By writing Tab.s i am reaching to table's field. It is like a struct.field relationship. By dot notation i reach to a subelement of an element. Here table is the element and s is its subelement(so called struct-field-subfield relation). That is the basic principle behind it.
