How do I change individual cell color of a UITable in Appdesigner? Is there a html workaround like in GUIDE?

I am wondering whether there is a solution this like this: https://uk.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/25038-how-to-change-each-cell-color-in-a-uitable that one could use to color specific cells in Appdesigner. As far as I know UITable's BackgroundColor property may only be used to color entire lines rather than specific cells?

I ran into the same problem. It's a shame HTML doesn't work in App Designer. I'm stuck to using GUIDE for now.
