31x21x21 Matrix as volume plot

Hey,

I have an array of measurement data, which is a 31x21x21 matrix, where the first dimension is the depth in which was measured and the other two are xy-plane. I tried to visualize the data with surf and with slice in a second attempt but both didn't work properly, what would be the correct way to use those? Thanks a lot. BR Eva

Note that there are a lot of different methods and it would be useful, if you explain, how you want to show the data.
