put coodinate in image map

Hello there!! Now, I want to ask two thing.

As a example, guess I have a topography map, and I read that in malab. I want to put longitude and latitude for each angle of map. question is

1)How can I put coordinate data into image map? 2)that image is little tile. in this case, Can I input coordinate value in the map directly?
