When trying any sample from the Simulink® Support Package for Arduino® Hardware, e.g. the arduino_gettingstarted, I get this error upon deploying to hardware:
Could not automatically set the bootloader COM port for your Leonardo board. This may be due to a disconnected or unrecognized board.
I use the Leonardo ETH R3 board. I am actually not quite sure if the Leonardo ETH board is supported, or only the "pure" Leonardo model. Funny enough, though the connection through MATLAB® Support Package for Arduino® works smoothly (not via ethernet, though, which would be very favorable for me).
I have tried also the suggested way of updating the device driver: No different outcome.
Now I am wondering: Is my board not supported in Simulink, or do I have another problem. And is it planned to support my board in the (near) future?
Thanks a lot, Andreas

Hi Andreas,
I understand that you are running into an error while trying to deploy a shipped demo onto an Arduino Leonardo board. I am suggesting that in addition to the Simulink Arduino support package, please also install the following:
"Embedded Coder Target for Arduino"
This support package includes deployment to additional procesors including "Leonardo", as the image screenshot shows from the add-on explorer:
Thanks,
David
