Matlab data to a text file

Hi I have a Matlab code which generates an image in JPEG format which has no properties(being in raster format).The data of this image are stored in a matrix.I want to take this data and print that in a .k(text file) file format which can be read in LS-Dyna.Can anyone please help me import the matrix data in a text file format through Matlab. Thanks.
