D2D Cellular Region Range

I am working on a project related to D2D communications. I need to define a cellular cell region for a specific range of a D2D device transmitter. The D2D device can only communicate to another D2D device if it is within its allowed range. I am not sure how to follow the problem in Matlab. The D2D devices are distributed through Poisson Point Process.

If you assume that there are no blockages in transmission (a bad assumption for cellular considering concrete buildings), then you look at the (current) Euclidean distance between the points.
