true positive value > number of sample in a class

I have more than 6000 samples, which are in 57 different classes. I calculate TP, FP, FN, TN. I also have a number of samples in each class. For some classes I get a higher number of TP than number of sample in that particular class. How is that possible? What does that mean?

How are you calculating these values of TP,FP,TN and FN? Using MATLAB ?

Sorry about late response. I didn't notice your reply. I found what was the error in my input data - they were not in proper order. Now it's all good. Yes I was using Matlab to calculate those values
