How to create a barchart

I have the mean and the max of two data sets. I want to create a bar chart that will compare side by side the mean of data set one with data set two and the max of data set one with data set 2. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Use bar():

meanValue1 = mean(data1(:))  % Mean of the first set of data.
maxValue2 = max(data2(:))    % Max of the second set of data.
bar([meanValue1, maxValue2], 'BarWidth', 0.97);

Thank you--that was so easy..I want to compare the mean of one with other, and the max of one with the other but I was able to see how you did it.
