Read data from USB port in Raspberry Pi to Matlab/Simulink

I am trying to read data from usb port for touch screen in raspberry pi to matlab/simulink. I cannot reach usb port of the raspberry pi (not for usb camera !) in matlab functions or simuink blocks.
