How to read pixel from geotiff file by latitude and longitude?

I have converted AOD product of MOD04 .hdf file to geotiff. Now I want to get the data of certain regions. I have latitude and longitude of that locations. How to do this? Please share the code......

Read about geotiffread. This is used to read the geo tiff files.

I know how to read geotiff file, I need to know how to get pixel data using geographic coordinates....
