Tesla K80 computation setup

Good day all,
I have a matlab gui for some image processing that has been running on a Tesla K20c compute card with gpu optimised code. I will have the chance to run this code on the more powerful Tesla K80 which is has 2 gpu's on one PCB. My question is do I need to change my code so that it will run on both gpu cores at the same time or will this happen autoamtically (via MATLAB or the nvidia tesla driver)?
Cheers

In particular,
"When workers share a single machine with multiple GPUs, MATLAB automatically assigns each worker in a parallel pool to use a different GPU by default."
