Errors running Simulink Support Package for Android Devices Examples

I am trying to learn how to use the Simulink Support Package for Android Devices. I am using MATLAB 2017a on a Surface Book running windows 10. My android device is Samsung S8.

I started going through the examples. The first example: Getting Started with Android Devices works perfectly.

However,The second example: Communicating with Android Devices is not working.

After clicking the run button, I get two errors that are explained in details in the attached text file. How can I solve this?

Hi Maurice,

Can you provide me the following information in order to better understand the issue :

1. You had mentioned that the getting started example works perfectly. In this case, are you able to deploy and see the Android app in the device?

2. The second model runs in 'External mode'. Did you change any settings of the model before clicking the run button?

3. Can you provide the generated folder 'androidCommunicationExample_ert_rtw' after you run the model?
