How does the fourier_fit function work?

Hard to know, since this is true:

which fourier_fit
'fourier_fit' not found.

If this is part of some toolbox, then read the documentation for it.

If it is something you downloaded, then contact the author.

If is something a colleague wrote, then ask them.

If all else fails, then look at the code.
