I am viewing a signal on the wavelet 1-d toolbox. The original signal has time in seconds on the x axis. But I cannot understand what the x axis is showing after wavelet transform is done on it.The Simulink help tells that the x axis can be either time or space, but the x axis values of the transformed signal are totally different from that of the original signal. No unit is mentioned.please help

This x axis has the same units as the input signal in time or space. However, if you are looking at the wavelet coefficients that result from a decimated wavelet transform, dwt, wavedec, then you have to realize that the spacing between those coefficients in time or space is proportional to the scale.
